Hevoslauma valmistui! - The heard of horses finally done!

Lupasin tehdä muutamalle heppakaverilleni heppoja ja pari tein sitten myös ihan muuten vaan. Ohje on hollantilaisen suunnittelijan, Mykrissiedollsin, Paarde Piem. Kuusi näitä nyt loppujen lopuksi tuli tehtyä. :D Melkoinen homma ja tuntui, että iänkaikkisesti kesti, mutta nyt ne ovat kaikki valmiita, jeeeee! Tänään kiinnitin kaikille kaveruksille jouhet yksi kerrallaan. Kyllä sitä tuli varmaan reilu 700 langanpätkää leikattua yhteensä kaikille kuudelle pollelle hänniksi ja harjoiksi. Melkoinen homma, mutta minusta ne ovat suloisia. :) Ja ennenkaikkea olen onnellinen, että sain ne viimein valmiiksi.

I promised a couple of my horsey-friends to make them a couple of horses. And did also a couple just because. :) The pattern is by a Dutch designer Mykrissiedolls. I ended up with six horses altogether. :D It was quite a lot of work and sometimes it felt like it takes forever to finish them, but now they are all finally all done! Yey! I the hair on all of the horses today, one piece at a time. I think I ended up cutting approximately 700 pieces of yarn for the manes and the tails. It was a lot of work, but I think they look cute, so I am happy. :)

Ensimmäinen valmis - First WIP finished

Tällainen Afrikankukkaheppa valmistui tänään. Ohje on Heidi Bears designin Fatty Lumpkin. Näitä heppoja olen tehnyt jo aika monta, mutta minusta ne ovat tosi somia. :)

This African flower horse was finished today. The pattern is by Heidi Bears design and is called Fatty Lumpkin. I have made several of these horses already, but I think they are just too cute. :)

Uudet ammut - new little cows

Pari pyynnöstä tehtyä ammua valmistui tänään. Tässäpä se viikonloppu vierähtikin. :)

Lahjat ennätin (lähes) saada valmiiksi ja paketoitua. Pikkuveljeni Reaverseista toinen tuli valmiiksi ja toinen lähes valmiiksi. Annoin siis vain yhden ja lupasin huomenna antaa toisenkin. :)
Tein äidilleni Frosty the Snowmanin (Woolytoons), isoveljelleni Death Star -tyynyn (Patricia Castillo), veljeni vaimolle Afrikankukkapöllön (Jo's Crocheteria) miehelleni oma suunnittelemani BB-8 droidin, pikkusiskoilleni tein Stip & Haakin kissan ja koiran, kummipojalleni tein itse suunnittelemani Afrikankukkakäärmeen ja pienemmille veljenpojilleni Stip&Haakin ohjeella nallen sekä pöllön. Lisäksi tein pari koria, jotka menivät nuorempien sisarusteni siipoille täynnä karkkia. :)


I managed (mostly) to get all presents done in time. The pair of Reaverse slippersocks I made for my brother, did not make it in time, so I ended up giving him one finished one and a promise to give him the other one tomorrow. :D
I made Frosty the Snowman (Woolytoons) for my mom, Death Star pillow (by Patricia Castillo) for my older brother,his wife got a African flower owl (Jo's Crocheteria), a BB-8 droid from Star Wars (my own design)  for my hubby, a dog (Stip&Haak) and a cat (Stip&Haak) for my sisters. :) For my nephew/godson I designed this African flower snake and my other nephews got a bear and an owl (Stip&Haak). I also made two small baskets and filled them with candy to the significant others of my siblings.

Vikoja viedään. Kummipojalle itse suunnittelemani Afrikankukkakäärme ja pikkuveljelleni Reaverset. Aika vaiheessa vielä, mutta eiköhän ne aattoillaksi pakettiin ennätä. :)


Last presents in the making. I am making a snake for my nephew. It is made of African flowers and it is my own design. Also a pair of Reaverse slippersocks is in the making for my little brother. Still in the early stages, but I am confident they will get wrapped up and under the Christmas tree in time. :)

Virkattu lehmä - Crocheted cow

Etsin jonkin aikaa hyvää lehmä-ohjetta, kunnes löysin tämän My Krissie dollsin ohjeen. My Krissie dollsilla on monta muutakin kivaa ohjetta, niistä lisää myöhemmin. :)

Alkuvaiheessa vielä mennään, mutta laitan kuvia sitten kun ammu on valmis. Lankana pitkäaikainen suosikkini Alize Cotton Gold.



I was looking for a nice cow-pattern for a while until I found this My Krissie dolls' pattern. My Krissie dolls has also many other lovely patterns, but more about them later. :)

I have only started making the cow, but I will post more pics once the little cow is finished. The yarn used here is my long time favorite Alize Cotton Gold.
