Hyvää Joulua kaikille! :) - Merry Christmas everybody! :)

Lahjat ennätin (lähes) saada valmiiksi ja paketoitua. Pikkuveljeni Reaverseista toinen tuli valmiiksi ja toinen lähes valmiiksi. Annoin siis vain yhden ja lupasin huomenna antaa toisenkin. :)
Tein äidilleni Frosty the Snowmanin (Woolytoons), isoveljelleni Death Star -tyynyn (Patricia Castillo), veljeni vaimolle Afrikankukkapöllön (Jo's Crocheteria) miehelleni oma suunnittelemani BB-8 droidin, pikkusiskoilleni tein Stip & Haakin kissan ja koiran, kummipojalleni tein itse suunnittelemani Afrikankukkakäärmeen ja pienemmille veljenpojilleni Stip&Haakin ohjeella nallen sekä pöllön. Lisäksi tein pari koria, jotka menivät nuorempien sisarusteni siipoille täynnä karkkia. :)


I managed (mostly) to get all presents done in time. The pair of Reaverse slippersocks I made for my brother, did not make it in time, so I ended up giving him one finished one and a promise to give him the other one tomorrow. :D
I made Frosty the Snowman (Woolytoons) for my mom, Death Star pillow (by Patricia Castillo) for my older brother,his wife got a African flower owl (Jo's Crocheteria), a BB-8 droid from Star Wars (my own design)  for my hubby, a dog (Stip&Haak) and a cat (Stip&Haak) for my sisters. :) For my nephew/godson I designed this African flower snake and my other nephews got a bear and an owl (Stip&Haak). I also made two small baskets and filled them with candy to the significant others of my siblings.

Viikonloppuna valmistuivat kaverille Reaverset. Lähes valmiiksi tuli myös Heidi Bearsin Lollo the African bear -ohjeella tehty nalle. Jäsenet vielä kiinnitystä vaille. Mutta hups. Yksi ylimääräinen osakin tuli tehtyä. Nythän toinen harmaa nalle onkin jo hyvällä mallilla. :D

This weekend I finished a pair of Reaverse slippersocks for a friend. And I almost finished Lollo the African bear by Heidi Bears design too. Arms and legs still need attaching. 
Whoopsie, I also made an extra arm. :D Looks like a second grey bear is well on its way. :)

Nallukka

Stip&Haakin bear Bram oli viikonloppuna kokeilussa. Tein kuonon kohdalla pari virhettä, mutta täytyy välttää ne seuraavalla kerralla. Tykkään tästäkin mallista ja tämä on aika nopea tehdä. Tämä kaveri menee joululahjaksi yhdelle veljenpojistani. :)

I decided to try out Stip&Haak's Bear Bram pattern last weekend. The muzzle did not come out 100% right, but the next one will. ;) This one is pretty quick to whip up.

I like this cuddly little bear. This one will go to one of my nephews as a Christmas present. :)

Lollo the African Flower bear

Heidi Bearsin afrikankukkaeläinmalleissa on paljon kivoja erilaisia hahmoja. Olen osaa ennättänyt jo kokeillakin ja hipoista laitoin jo kuvia. Helmi-maaliskuussa tein tämän nallen. Lanka on Red Heart baby. Todella pehmeä lanka, mutta ei ehkä kuitenkaan ihan paras tällaiseen työhön.


Heidi Bears' African flower animal patterns have a lot of different really nicely designed creatures. I have tried out several of them. I already posted some pictures of the Happypotamus. Last February-March I made this adorable bear. The yarn used was Red Heart baby, which is a very soft yarn, but probably not the best for this kind of crochet project.

Tällä nallella on vaan niin lempeä ja soma katse ja ilme. :)

This bear just has the kindest little face and look. :)

Eka Nalle matkasi mieheni mummille Teuvalle heinäkuussa. Siellä siitä on pidetty hyvää huolta ja se istuu sohvalla ja sen paikkaa vaihdetaan, ettei se pitkästyisi. Nalle sai siis parhaan mahdollisen kodin. :)

This bear traveled to the middle of Finland in July as a gift for my spouse's grandmother. She is taking such a good care of him. She moves him around the sofa, so he wouldn't get bored sitting on just one spot. :)

Toinen nalle on ollut alkutekijöissään huhtikuusta saakka. Kasassa on vasta keskiruumis. Pään osat on jo virkattu valmiiksi, mutta odottelevat sopivaa hetkeä, että saan koko nallukan valmiiksi. Kuvia sitten joskus valmiista nallesta.


I started making a second bear in April. This is how far I got. This is the trunk of the bear. I already crocheted the parts for the head, but have not gotten around to assemble them together. I will post pics of the finished bear when I eventually get around to it. :)
