Palvelu liikkeessä oli erittäin ystävällistä liikkeessä, jossa ennätin käydä melko pikaisesti ja viivyin hieman vielä sulkemisajan jälkeenkin. Suosittelen. :)
I had a business trip to Kuopio, Eastern Finland, today. As I visited Kuopio, I also visited a local Crafts Store "Nappi & Nauha" (Button and Ribbon in English). They indeed had a lot of buttons and ribbons there. It seems I have developed some sort of a satin ribbon-fetish. I feel I cannot have enough ribbons! :) I even bought several rolls of ribbons from Karnaluks, Estonia, last month. I use the ribbons on gift items (usually make a cute little bow), to give them a nice "gifty" finishing touch. In the store there were also a lot of other crafts materials, crochet hooks, knitting needles, zippers, fabrics, yarn etc. I ended up purchasing a Prym 3 mm crochet hook and a couple of buttons. I like Prym's hooks, because they are round, not flat and they suit me a lot better than those flat ones. I crochet so much these days that I have really invested in nice hooks because they really are worth it and make a lot of difference. The buttons I bought are for some sweaters I promised to make my sister's new puppy dog. My sister got this little female puppy, Emmi, a while back and she needs a little sweater and the sweater of course needs some buttons. I have looked up some patterns, but may end up just winging it. :) I would like to make one that is knitted and one that is crocheted.
The service at the store was very nice, even though my visit was rather brief and I left after closing hours. If you are ever in Kuopio, be sure to look them up! :)
