Uutta koukulla - New WIP's

Viime aikoina on ollut harvinaisen vähän virkkausaikaa muiden harrastusten ja töiden vuoksi. Nyt kuitenkin olen aloittanut uutta projektia, joka toivottavasti valmistuu viikon kuluessa. Hevoset ovat lähellä sydäntäni, samoin monella ystävälläni. Tässä tulossa on pieni lauma hevosia Mykrissiedollsin ohjeella Paarde Piem. :) Niin monta kivaa projektia tekisi mieleni aloittaa ja useampia on edelleen keskenkin. Lottovoittoa odotellessa... ;)


I have not had a lot of time to crochet lately due to other hobbies and being busy at work. However, I have started this new project that hopefully will be done within a week or so. I love horses and so do many of my friends. What I am working on now, is a herd of horses. The pattern is Paarde Piem by Mykrissiedolls. :) There are just so many lovely projects I would like to start working on and there are several unfinished ones as well. I guess I have to try to win the lottery or something... ;)

Pöllöpariskunta - African Flower Owl Couple

Tein tällaisen afrikankukkapöllöpariskunnan häälahjaksi kavereilleni. Pöllöt on tehty puuvillasekoitelangasta 2,5 mm koukulla ja ovat melko suuria. Ohje pöllöihin on Jo's Crocheterian ja on nyt saatavilla myös suomeksi allekirjoittaneen kääntämänä. :) Pinkin pöllön värit ovat valmiin pöllön kuvissa näemmä jotenkin hieman vääristyneet. :)


I made this African flower owl couple as a wedding gift for friends of mine. The yarn I used is a cotton blend and the owls turn out quite big this way. I used size 2,5 mm hook. The pattern is by Jo's Crocheteria. Looks like the pink owl's colors got a bit distorted somehow in the finished pictures. :)

Mandala

Mandalakin etenee. Pikkuhiljaa, mutta kuitenkin. :) Mandala on melkoisen työläs, mutta sitä on kyllä hauska tehdä. Ja sitä tehdessä oppii vaikka mitä. Tässä pari kuvaa tämänhetkisestä tilanteesta. Kuvissa on näemmä hassu optinen harha, aikaisempi versio näyttää pidemmälle edistynyttä suuremmalta. :)


I have also been working on my Mandala every now and then. It takes up A LOT of work, but it is a lot of fun. And it certainly is a great learning experience. :) Here are a few pics where I am at right now. There seems to be a funny optical illusion; the earlier picture makes the Mandala look bigger than the more progressed one. :)

Ammunen - A little Cow

Tein kaverilleni hänen pyynnöstään mustavalkoisen lehmän, Ohje on Mykrissiedollsin. Nämä ammut ovat niin sympaattisia ja aika kivan kokoisiakin, ilman jalkoja mitattuna 35-40 cm korkeita, ainakin siis tällä puuvillasekoitelangalla tehtynä. :) Kuvissa ammu myös lammasystävänsä (Stip&Haak) kanssa. :)


I made this little cow for my friend. The pattern is by Mykrissiedolls. Thsese little cows are so very adorable and quite nice a size too, without the legs they are 35-40 cm tall. At least when made with this cotton blend, which I use on them. :) This cow also took a picture with a friendly sheep. :)
